LTN Tecnology
Liquid chrystal displays need an additional backlighting for operation in darkness. Conventional large LCD-displays often show coloured backgrounds, depending on the viewing angle, during the transmitting light mode. With the launch of the patented LTN - Technology (Low Twist Nematic), large LCD-displays with real black-white display, high contrast, wide viewing angles and high brightness during direct light mode are now possible. Additional to the 38-Segment-Layout also many different other Mosaic- und Matrix displays - including customer specific displays - can now be realized.
The neutral dark background enables attractive colourings of the segments. Therefore new UV-stable light converter have been developed. Addional to the standard colours red, yellow, green, yellowgreen and blue are now customer specific colourings possible!
